Seeing Double

The British retailer, French Connection , and department store, Sears, are teaming up to create an affordable new contemporary line.  The line is called, UK Style and can be found at Sears department stores and at Sears.com.  French Connection hosted a launch party last night in Hollywood at Lexington Social House.  Check out the red carpet arrivals below.

Jaime King & Nicky Hilton laughed about this fashion nightmare: they both arrived in the same sequined, leopard-print mini dress.

Brooke Burke & Carmen Electra both posed in this animal-print dress.

DGA Awards

It is a busy night in LA because the 63rd Annual Director’s Guild of America (DGA) Awards were also going on.

Claire Danes stuck with her simple yet elegant style in a black dress and black heels.

Amy Adams wore a nude strapless dress.  With such fair skin I think it is hard for her to pull off this trend, but she looks pretty.

And Natalie Portman covered her burgeoning bump in a long black pleated gown with gold neck piece.

Green Hornet=Green Carpet

Tonight was the premiere of “Green Hornet 3D” at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.  I hate to say it but the movie looks pretty lame.  Even my love for Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz couldn’t get me to drag my butt to the theater.  That’s not to say no one will see it though, and tonight at the premiere many people came out to support the film.

 

Cameron Diaz looked gorgeous in a one shoulder, fitted red dress by Azzaro and nude heels.  Her hair is perfectly tousled and she just looks great!  So simple, yet so elegant.

 

Seth Rogan is the executive producer, writer and lead in the film and he was looking very dapper tonight.

Also in attendance was Taylor from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
