Trends of The Night: Sequins & Skin

As everyone knows I am completely obsessed with sequins, and it seems I am not the only one.  They were a serious trend at the Golden Globes this year, and that trend continued to tonight’s Grammy Awards.  Another hot trend was showing some serious skin.  Some daredevils even put the two trends together for a lethal combination of sexiness.

Supermodel, Heidi Klum, dazzled in a gold, sequined dress with shoulder cut-outs and an open back by Julian Macdonald.  I love the back of this dress!

Lea Michele showed some leg in this black ruffle tiered gown by Emilio Pucci.

Jennifer Lopez wore sequins head-to-toe and showed off her Gillette-sponsored gams, also in Emilio Pucci.

Kim Kardashian showed off her famous curves in this bronze sequined gown by KaufmanFranco.

Miley merged two trends together: animal print & sequins in this Roberto Cavalli gown.

Snooki got glam in this silver sequined mini.

Ciara showed a whole lotta skin in this Emilio Pucci halter dress.

Private & Posh

Audi hosted a private Super Bowl weekend dinner tonight in Dallas, and some of the most “in demand” celebs were invited. Check out some pics from the posh event.

“Glee” star, Lea Michele, looked casually chic in a grey sequined sweater, flared dress pants, and a blue scarf.

The “Gossip Girl” star wore a black, off-the-shoulder, sweater dress and gold heels.  I love her snakeskin clutch.

Keri Hilson wore a daring, white ensemble with bold accessories: a multi-strand gold necklace and snakeskin booties.

Maria Menounos and Marisa Miller had a “pose-off”.

SAG Awards: Behind the Scenes

I love finding the behind the scenes pictures that give you a glimpse into what the awards shows are really like.  Here are a few from tonight’s SAG Awards.

Betty White kissed her SAG man, which she won for her role on the TV show, “Hot in Cleveland.”

Alec Baldwin & Tina Fey took a moment to pose for the camera.  Alec took home an award for his role on “30 Rock.”

“The Social Network” cast members: Justin Timberlake, Jesse Eisenberg, and Andrew Garfield enjoyed the show.

Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis caught up with each other.  Natalie won Best Actress for “Black Swan.”

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban snuck a smooch.

After being snubbed by her on the Paramount lot last year, Hailee Steinfeld finally got her photo opp with Lea Michele.

The women of “Modern Family” celebrated their win in the Press Room.

SAG Style!!

I was a little disappointed this year with the red carpet style at the 17th Annual SAG Awards Show.  That’s not to say I didn’t have some favorites though.  I think what was missing for me was that one “WOW” dress, like Olivia Wilde’s dress at the Golden Globes.  That dress was just so amazing that I can’t stop thinking about it.  Check out my faves below.

Angie Harmon looked like a princess in a pink tulle and feather gown by Monique Lhullier.

Lea Michele glittered in a gorgeous gold sequined gown with gold belt by Oscar de la Renta.

“Glee” star, Heather Morris, walked the red carpet in style in a nude, strapless gown by Romona Keveza.

Julia Stiles opted for a flowy, navy/white ombre gown.

Rosario Dawson chose a cream J. Mendel dress and pewter peeptoes.  And I love the jade earrings!

Jennifer Lawrence steered clear of the current nude trend with a hot pink dress with black belt by Oscar de la Renta  & black shoes.

Natalie Portman looked like a pregnant Grecian goddess in a white column gown by Azzaro.

Julianna Marguiles looked red hot in a simple red dress by YSL.

Amy Adams chose a body conscious, white gown by Herve L Leroux.

Glee All-Stars

Fox hosted their 2011 All-Start Party last night in Pasadena.  The most represented TV show was one of my all time fave’s, GLEE!  Check out the star’s arrivals on the red carpet.  Lea Michele was strangely absent.

Dianna Agron looked simple & classic in a black, scoopneck dress with a red belt accent.

I would love to see Matthew Morrison with a buzz cut!

Jayma Mays looked electric in a gorgeous, hot pink dress and black shoes.  One of my favorite color combos ever!

Cory Monteith chose a gray suit and plaid tie.

And Mark Salling looked delicious, as always!
